Wild West Skateboard Contest Series

Our first core event of the Series kicked off on Saturday July 22nd in Driggs Idaho.  We had a great turnout for the contest and the vibe was high!

JHSC Alpine program athletes and coaches have been taking advantage of all the summer snow that still exists at Mammoth Mountain, CA.  Mary Clancy participated in the Western Region Flight School Camp in Mammoth May 23rd-28th with JHSC U16 Coach, Lindsay Mann on staff for this project.   Below are photos of Mary from the camp:

JHSC Seniors, Class of 2017

The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club congratulates our graduating seniors on their many achievements, academically and in skiing and snowboarding. We are very proud of their many accomplishments and wish them all the best as they pursue their future goals!


 

June: Mammoth Mt. Camp
Dates: June 17-28 (includes travel dates)
 # of days on snow scheduled: 9
Open to: 2nd year U14 up to FIS
Content: Return to snow camp, GS&SL fundamentals.
Coaches: Zach Schwartz, Lindsay Mann &/or Kevin Keene.
Minimum number of athletes: 10

As always the Freeride Program has a lot in the works for this summer.

Spring is a time of transition for the Nordic program as we take time in April to relax and reflect on the season. A lot of the program's athletes have been staying active with spring sports and using this transition time to learn and practice a different set of athletic demands that compliment their development of a becoming a well rounded athlete. We encourage this type of activity all the way through May as we slowly progress into a year round period based training program for the Prep and Comp team athletes, starting May 30th.
