Trail Creek Grooming Report
Not Half Bad!
Even with another 8 inches of very heavy “Portland Cement” snow and without the use of the Pisten Bully, a skiable trail is waiting for you here today at Trail Creek. Even though the heavy snow was quite difficult to move, once it was Ginzu’d into place it made for some quite firm skate lanes and classic tracks, definitely worth a shot if you are looking for a snowy Monday ski.
As of 11:50 AM the temperature is 1ºC/34ºF with light breezes and sky conditions varying from peaks of sunshine to intense snow squalls.
In other Nordic news, the high school and IMD skiers had a great weekend at Cody with results available here and over west in Sun Valley at the Boulder Mountain Tour there was great representation from Jackson including Coach Johnny Springer coming in 9th, plus many other coaches with strong finishes. BMT results can be found here.
Groomer’s choice for today is to test your skills on a few laps of the slightly rustic field perimeter trail.
